Course Description

Tournament Specifications for All 27 Holes of the "2023 PGA Championship of Japan" Stage!

Eniwa Country Club, consisting of 27 holes over three courses (Shikotsu, Akan, and Mashu), is located about 35 minutes from New Chitose Airport and less than one hour from Sapporo City, quietly nestled in the midst of the great outdoors. Entering the course from the road leading to Mt. Eniwa, guests are greeted by a gatekeeper at the gate, indicating the prestige of the course.

2.2-kilometer approach road leads from the gate to the clubhouse. The time spent driving slowly along the road, with the beautiful course on your right, is a blissful moment that gives golfers an unparalleled sense of elation.

All three of the 27 holes spread out over the magnificent land are tournament-quality layouts. Next year, the Japan Professional Tournament will be held on the Akan and Mashu courses, but the Shikotsu Course, which offers dynamic golf, has a track record of hosting tournaments, and all courses are highly strategic. Of course, the scenery is spectacular, and the number of professional tournaments held here is proof of the high quality of the course.

The course has hosted many professional tournaments, including the Japan Professional Tournament, you will experience the charm of a tournament course by actually playing a round of golf here. It is also one of the few courses in Hokkaido that can accommodate competitions of over 100 players. In fact, the number of caddies and carts at many courses makes it difficult to set up large competitions with caddies and carts, but " it owns 100 two-seater carts, so all groups can play comfortably with caddies" Of course, the fairways are also accessible by cart. The well-maintained Western-style grass fairways are so pleasant and exhilarating that you will not feel the same as when playing golf in Honshu.

The Akan Course #8, a par 3, is challenging in contrast to its beautiful appearance. The Shikotsu Course #9, a par 4, requires accurate shots.

A luxurious clubhouse where you can feel at ease

The 10-meter-high atrium creates a feeling of elegance and hospitality. The clubhouse is a high quality space, just like a luxury hotel. All of staffs are working hard with a strong sense of hospitality for the customers, in order to make them want to come back to Eniwa CC again.

In addition, health and safety are also thoroughly addressed, and the carpets in the clubhouse and other facilities in the building have been switched to antibacterial specifications to ensure that guests can spend their time in peace even in the Corona disaster.

Of course, the restaurant is also a relaxing space. The restaurant, with its spacious table layout, offers not only Japanese and Western cuisine, but also a wide variety of Chinese and a la carte dishes. The restaurant also offers a wide selection of wines produced in Yoichi, Hokkaido, so after playing golf, we hope you will enjoy a moment of conversation with your friends over a delicious drink.
