- Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine :The shrine is located in Zaifu, Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The shrine is one of the Tenmangu shrines dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane. During Hatsumode (New Year's visit), more than 2 million people from Kyushu and all over Japan visit the shrine every year, or more than 8.5 million people per year. The shrine is also home to a large number of visitors.
