Course Description

The AXA Ladies Golf Tournament was held on the LPGA Tour from 2007 to 2009

Tomakomai Golf Resort 72 which consists of the following four courses (18 holes each) is a vast golf resort located in Tomakomai, Hokkaido, featuring a total of 72 holes. It is one of Hokkaido’s premier golf facilities, known for its strategic course layouts and breathtaking natural scenery unique to the region. Access from New Chitose Airport (CTS), it takes 20-30 min by car via National Route 36 or the Hokkaido Expressway. From Sapporo city , taking approximately 60–70 minutes via the Hokkaido Expressway. For convenience, renting a car is highly recommended, especially for those traveling with golf equipment.

 

Emina Golf Club

The three 18-hole courses (totaling 54 holes) spread across the natural forests of Yūfutsu offer a truly Hokkaido-style golfing experience on a flat, forested hill course. Players can enjoy a comfortable and effortless round, as golf carts are allowed on the fairways every day.

The South Course, LPGA tournament venue, features caddie-supported play with golf carts and a flat, high-quality course that emphasizes precision. The West and East Courses offer self-play with GPS-equipped golf carts as the standard option. The East Course is long and wide, making it a favorite among athletic golfers. The West Course offers stunning views of Mount Tarumae, adding to the scenic beauty.

Comprises three courses (East, West, and South) with a total of 54 holes, each offering distinct characteristics. While relatively flat, strategically placed bunkers and water hazards add challenge. Known for its wide fairways and scenic beauty that embody the charm of Hokkaido golf.

1) East Course, 18H: Relatively flat with wide fairways, allowing for aggressive driver shots.

2) West Course, 18H : Features numerous water hazards, demanding precise shot placement.

3) South Course, 18H : Characterized by dogleg holes, requiring careful course management.

 

Iris Golf Club

"The concept is 'Enjoy golf casually!' Golf carts are allowed on the course, making for a fully self-service, American-style golf experience. While the course length ranges from 5,237 yards to 6,541 yards, the technical layout provides a challenging and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels!"

Each course features a well-equipped clubhouse, complete with a restaurant, locker rooms, large baths, and a pro shop.
