Kanagawa Prefecture is home to three famous tourist destinations, such as Yokohama City, Kamakura, and Hakone. Yokohama is the capital and most populous city in Kanagawa Prefecture. Yokohama is part of the Tokyo metropolitan area. Kamakura is located in the southern part of Kanagawa Prefecture, has many temples and shrines and is a popular tourist spot. Hakone is located near Mt. Fuji area, surrounded by the area around the Hakone Caldera. Hakone is also famous for its hot springs and has many hot spring inns and tourist attractions.
