Tochigi Prefecture is located in the northern part of the Kanto region and is famous for the World Heritage Site Nikko Toshogu Shrine, as well as delicious strawberries, apples, and other fruits. Jun Classic Golf Club and Rope Club managed by an apparel company “JUN”, is highly evaluated from golfers in terms of its hospitality, food, unique accommodation facility and course maintenance. Karasuyamajo Country Club opened in 1973, designed by Inoue Seiichi known to be one of the best in the field of golf course architect in Japan, hosted LPGA tournament, Japan Ladies Open tournament 2016, won by Hataoka Nasa before turning to be a pro. New St. Andrews Japan with 27 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus is known as a tough and challenging course for even Jack himself. The other Nasu golf courses are worth the drive into the mountains to experience some of Tochigi’s most spectacular scenery.

Tourist Attractions to Visit

- Nikko Toshogu Shrine : is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Tosateru Daigongen, the deified deity of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first Tokugawa shogun. It is a tourist attraction in Nikko that attracts many visitors, including worshippers and foreign tourists.
