Kyushu consists of seven prefectures, Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Oita, Miyazaki, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima, and is located in the south of Japan. The gateway from overseas is Fukuoka Airport, where many international flights from Asia arrive and depart. The climate is relatively mild, and there are many attractions such as golf courses, many hot springs including Beppu, Yufuin, and Ibusuki, caldera areas, and delicious local food such as pork ramen, seafood, Miyazaki beef, and other unique and gourmet delicacies.

The Classic Golf club opened in 1990, Hosted the Japan Open, the PGA Championship and many tournaments. Nishinihon Country Club, a sister course of The Classic Golf Club, both courses is worthy of being chosen as one of the Fukuoka's premier championship golf courses. In Miyazaki, Phoenix Country Club hosted a JPGA tournament "Dunlop Phoenix tournament from 1974, managed by a Sega Sammy Group, is highly evaluated from golfers in terms of its course design, facility and course maintenance. Passage Kinkai Island Golf Club is known to be one of the difficult and beautiful in this area, hosted major professional tournaments. Atsumaru Aso Akamizu Golf Club located in the Aso Caldera is a perfect blend of the natural beauty of Aso and the course. The borrowed views of the outer rim and Mt. Kijima and the fairways surrounded by cedar and cypress trees create an atmosphere that cannot be experienced anywhere else in Japan.
