Tokyo is a capital city of Japan, the largest number of populations in the world. You can find almost everything whatever you want in Tokyo, excellent museums, temples, shrines, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. except golf course. If want to stay in Tokyo and play golf, we recommend that you go to neighboring prefecture, Chiba, Saitama or Kanagawa which have many excellent courses, on average 1 hour drive from Tokyo, depending on traffic jam.
We can make arrangements for you to play at the golf courses in neighboring area around Tokyo, as well as these lesser-known golf courses. The beautiful mountain ranges or forests are mesmerizing and offer different relaxing atmosphere.
There are over 150 golf courses in Chiba prefecture, surprisingly 33 golf courses exist in only Ichihara city. To name some of tournament hosted courses in Chiba, Chiba Country Club, Murasaki Country Club Sumire course, Cameria Hills Country Club, Sodegaura Country Club, Takanodai Country Club...etc.
In Saitama, there are 85 golf courses in the prefecture. Kasumigaseki Country Club a venue of Tokyo Olympics game 2020, Tokyo Golf Club, Sayama Golf Club, Ranzan Country Club, Takasaka Country Club, Hanno Country Club and so on, though limited membership only. Seibu group manage Kuni Country Club opened in, Musashigaoka golf course hosted LPGA event, Mitsubishi Ponta Ladeies . Oomurasaki country Club used to be owned by Seibu group is currently under management by Accordia group.
In Kanagawa, Hakone is located an hour and a half from Tokyo and is a popular hot spring resort for Japanese people; it is also home to the Daihakone Country Club, which hosts the JLPGA tournament, and is a smart option to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and stay overnight to refresh and enjoy golf and sightseeing.
