Since its opening, it has been a championship course of over 7,000 yards and has attracted many golfers for its layout with a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji can be seen from almost every hole, depending on the weather conditions. Overall, the fairways are wide and there are many long, challenging holes, The front 9 holes are mostly flat and gentle, while the back 9 holes have a variety of layouts with many uphill and downhill holes over valleys.

Fuji, and during the fall foliage season, all 18 holes are covered with autumn foliage, creating a spectacular view. As an additional facility, a large 300-yard and 18 bats driving range is also available, where golfers can adjust their sense of distance, including their driver, before starting their rounds. There is also a ball room that can accommodate up to 40 players.

The golf course at Higashi-Fuji Country Club consists of an 18-hole, par-72, Front 9 and Back 9 Course designed by Takejiro Watanabe and Hidetoshi Kobayashi. As the course is built on a hilly terrain, every hole has a gentle slope, and since the OUT Course has wider fairways, the it is relatively easy compared to the back 9.

Fuji, the course is popular among beginners, female players, and senior players. The IN course requires good technique due to the presence of ponds and bunkers in many places. Therefore, even advanced players can play with sufficient strategy. Among them, the 12th short hole, which is the hole where near pin is recommended, has bunkers placed in front of the green, making it a highly challenging course that requires accuracy of shots.
