Course Description

The most beautiful and Exciting course in Japan, selected the best 100 courses in Japan

The Horai Country Club is located in Shiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture. It takes 10 minutes from the Nasushiobara IC of Tohoku Expressway by car and 20 minutes from the JR Nasushiobara Station by car. The course, opened in 1990, is taken advantage of rich natural ground such as Japanese red pine trees of Nasunogahara, flat ground and evergreen grass. As it places on the vast ground, the holes are not next to each other and you can play comfortably. The course was designed by Rover Von Hagge same as the Nishinasuno Country Club, and the design concept is "The most beautiful and Exciting course in Japan.". From 2000 to 2002, men's professional tournament "Japan Golf Tour Championship" had been held. Further more, the course was select 5th of the best 100 courses in Japan (Golf Classic December 2002 issue).

The beautiful mountains and the Japanese red pine trees will give you deep impression. At the same time, you can enjoy golfing in the genuine course. As the course is quite strategic, there will be many opportunities for beginners to top professionals to test their skills.

We recommend to round the sister course Nishinasuno Country Club in Nasu City too.
