Course Description

JLPGA 2023 MINEBEAMITSUMI LADIES host course

Makomanai Country Club is a golf course located in Makomanai, a suburb of Sapporo (about 19 km from central Sapporo). Adjacent to Shikotsu-Toya National Park, the majestic 36-hole course is surrounded by virgin forests unique to Hokkaido. The course opened on June 15, 1969.

Makomanai Country Club has two courses, the Soranuma Course and the Moiwa Course. The Kukonuma Course is an 18-hole, 7,065-yard, par-72 course that plays from the back tees. The Moiwa Course has 18 holes and measures 6,565 yards from the back tees with a par of 72. The Moiwa Course, with its strategic layout requiring precise strategy, is characterized by its relatively short distance. The greens are highly undulated, and the course requires players to play with their brains.

Makomanai Country Club is also equipped with a 300-yard driving range, making it possible to play two rounds of golf in one day, making it an ideal golf course for golf camps.

The restaurant offers a lunch menu and a snack menu. Hokkaido Baron Croquettes and Shiratama Cream Zenzai are recommended.

Access: about 55 km from New Chitose Airport (about 60 minutes by car), about 20 km from JR Sapporo Station (about 35 minutes by car), and about 11 km from Makomanai Station on the Namboku Subway Line (about 15 minutes by car).
