18 holes with a perfect blend of natural and figurative beauty
Mizobe Country Club is located in Kirishima City, a 10-minute drive from Kagoshima Airport, and is a gentle hilly course throughout. With the Kirishima mountain range to the left and the majestic Sakurajima to the south, this is a challenging course with a grand tropical scale that will make your heart pound. The clubhouse features a large symmetrical roof reminiscent of a mountain range, and its subdued colors are in harmony with the natural surroundings.
Separated by cedar trees, the course offers a variety of elevation changes, lakes, doglegs, downhill and uphill holes. The 7th hole is a beautiful hole over a lake. The 9th is a dogleg to the left with a lake on the left side of the fairway. The first shot is downhill, but the second shot is over the water to the green. The 13th is difficult on the in-ground as it is laid out to wrap around a large lake to the left. The 14th is downhill long but the landing area for the second shot is narrow and if you turn left, the water will catch you. The final 18th hole is a downhill hole over a large lake, so an accurate shot is required rather than a long one.
