Course Description

Pete Dye design requires a high level of strategy

Narita Hills Country Club is a golf course located in Sakae-cho, Inba-gun, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, and is a woodland course designed by world-renowned architect Pete Dye.

The course's history dates back to July 20, 1991, when it opened as The Country Club Glenmore. The course then underwent a major renovation for about a year starting in August 2013, which included course extension, complete turf replacement, pond water quality improvement, and clubhouse renovation, etc. On May 1, 2014, the course was renamed and renovated to its current name, Narita Hills Country Club.

The course is outlined as 18 holes totaling 7,113 yards, par 72, with a choice of five tees. The greens have been introduced with a state-of-the-art variety called "Memorial", the fourth generation, which is bright green, strong and technical.

The course requires a high level of strategy, as artificial undulations and large lakes and bunkers are effectively placed on the fairways. The signature hole is the PAR4 16th, a downhill dogleg that is also a recommended hole for the Dracon Championship. The downhill dogleg 16th hole is characterized by a large pond protruding from the left side of the fairway, and the trick is to attack from the left side of the fairway instead of the right side, which is more dangerous.

The atmosphere of the clubhouse is luxurious and refined, and the antique furniture and chandelier decorations throughout the clubhouse create a rich and gorgeous atmosphere. The restaurant provides a relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy the finest cuisine.
The staff's hospitality is of the highest quality. The course is well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. The staff's attitude toward customer service aims to provide high quality service and a comfortable and enriching experience.
