Course Description

Beautiful and difficult golf course, one of the TOP 100 in Japan!

The Nishinasuno Country Club is located in Nasu City, Tochigi Prefecture. It takes 10 minutes from Nishi nasushiobara IC by car and 20 minutes from the JR Nasushiobara station by car. The course designed by Robert Von Hagge who is famous designer in the world in 1993 and placed on the ground of Nasunogahara which is said the last place that can become the golf course in the Honshu area of Japan. The course, laid out like a painting, located on the foot of the Nasu mountains with 1,700 square meters, is beautiful as if an art. The teeing ground and the fairway is composed of the Bent grass, and it is beautiful like a carpet. So you can round comfortably. The course is always highly regarded. For example, it is selected the 4th of "E-Z-GO best 100 golf course ranking(Golf style January 2006 issue) in 2005. It must be one of the best courses in Japan.

It is the strategically forest course that deep Japanese red pine is impressive. The terrain is flat but the fairway has strong undulation like a links course. It is beautiful because the grass is Bent grass without rough, but if you get out of the fairway, there are bunkers, grass bunkers and the rough like a wasteland. Every green has steps and it is not easy depending on where you drop the ball. The OUT course is tricky overall, but the IN course is relatively easy. Every player from beginner to professional can enjoy the course. The sister course Hourai Country Club is also elegance so we recommend to round both courses.
