Course Description

A golf paradise with turquoise waters and tropical flowers

PGM Golf Resort Okinawa is a hillside course. The 27 course is located on a hilly terrain overlooking the turquoise-blue East China Sea. It is exhilarating to play in front of the magnificent view overlooking as far as Motobu Peninsula and Ie Island. The course is long, the fairways are flat and wide, and especially the short holes skillfully weave through the terrain, giving each hole a unique character.

Named after tropical flowers, each course was created to take advantage of the terrain and is a well-received championship course that created drama at the HEIWA x PGM CHAMPIONSHIP tournament held in November 2017. The championship course has been remodeled and supervised by Isao Aoki, a professional golfer, to further enhance the strategic nature of the course. The order of rounds will be as follows (Start) Bougainvillea ⇒ To Daygo Course (Start) Hibiscus ⇒ To Bougainvillea (Start) Daygo ⇒ To Hibiscus

The Diego Course's 1st hole is a par 5 that plays boldly downhill toward the East China Sea, and the bunker in front of the green is a long distance away, so management of the second shot is important. 3rd hole is over a valley from the tee, and its difficulty level varies depending on summer and winter winds. The par 3 7th hole features a green surrounded by 5 guard bunkers and requires both distance and direction. HOLE NO. 8 on the Hibiscus Course is a long, short hole that requires a difficult shot from the bunker on the left side to the green, which is a long distance away. The green slopes sharply from the back, so care is needed. Hole No. 3 on the Bougainvillea Course is a relatively long par 4 with HDCP 1. It is difficult to get a sense of distance on the second shot. A relatively long par 4.

The par 3, No. 8 requires accurate distance and directional accuracy as the water comes into play from the front of the green to the left side and back.

On August 1, 2024, the 18-hole Champion Course will be open for night play for the first time in Okinawa Prefecture. Please enjoy playing in a fantastic space different from that during the daytime.
