Course Description

Hosted the Japan Women's Open and the Japan-US Women's Pro match

PGM Sohsei Golf Club is located in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, and is located just 5 km from the East Kanto Expressway "Narita IC" and close to Narita Airport. The course opened in 1964, which was initially operated as a "Songsheng Country Club", but was rebuilt in 2011 by the Lakewood Group. In 2019, it was transferred to Pacific Golf Management Co., Ltd. It has a history of more than 50 years, and in the past it has been a stage for numerous tournaments such as the Japan Women's Open and the Japan-US Women's Pro match. It is laid out in a large area on the broad north general grounds, and each hall is surrounded by forests and has a calm atmosphere and a taste of inter-forest trails. The seasonal flowers such as splendid pines and cedars, cherry blossoms and azaleas make players enjoy their eyes. The course consists of 27 holes in the east, west and south, par 108. Green is Bent Korai's 2 green. Overall, the fairway is spacious and flat, so you can hit the tee shot comfortably. The course design is by Izumi Izumi (east / west course) and Mano Yoshikichi (south course), and each course is uniquely designed and you can play without getting tired. The east course is 3,476 yards. Bunkers and standing trees arranged around the green enhance strategicity. Technologies such as the accuracy of holes and shots for which flying distance is required are required. The west course is 3,223 yards. The layout is based on the nature of the Hokuso plateau such as over the pond and over the valley, and it has a variety of changes such as horse-backed fairways and battery greens. The south course is 3,284 yards. The second hole, where Ukijima Green is impressive, is considered a specialty. The choice of the club according to the situation holds the key to score making, as the pond crossing, the downhill, the bunker and the rough are also made deep. The condition is good as the course maintenance is carried out in detail. Green is also set fast. Correct advice from a skilled caddy should help in scoring. We support comfortable rounds with high quality service. The wooden, warm clubhouse offers peace. There is a spacious locker room, a bath, a restaurant and a coffee lounge.
