Course Description

The Sobu Country Club is located in Inzai City, Chiba Prefecture, and is located 15 km from the “Yotsukaido IC” on the East Kanto Expressway. It has a total of 54 holes: 27 Sobu courses, 18 holes of Inbu courses and 9 holes of North courses. PGM is one of the high-grade courses belonging to GRAND PGM, a brand selected from among the owned courses, and it is this Somu course that is said to be comparable to the top courses in the US. The course designed by Seizo Tomizawa promises a fun day for golfers with its beautiful woods and excellent layout. It is an inter-forest course developed in a magnificent site, and the fairway width is wide, and you can swing the club freely. There are many holes with distance, and it is a popular course for long hitters that "it is easy to get a good score". It is a structure in which the willingness to be challenged, such as a forest arranged for dividing the green into two, a valley crossing, and a bunker with a depth to wait around the green. Each ability is tested, such as the accuracy and technology of the shot, and the appropriate situation judgment. A champion course that also brings athlete-oriented golfers and skilled players with pride. Green is 2 greens of Bent and Koryo. You can play in the appropriate green depending on the season. Green condition is good throughout the year with thorough course maintenance. Tough and challenging courses were also held, including Japan Open, Kanto Open, Japan Professional, Japan-US Golf, Suntory Open, HEIWA and PGM Championships. It is an inter-forest course laid out on flat terrain separated by large trees, and it is a highly effective 3-course 27-hole with changes such as ponds and dog legs. The fairway is wide and the distance is long, and the green uses 2 greens of Bent and Korea. Opened in 1964, it became part of PGM in 2008 and re-started as a flagship course of GRAND PGM.

The newly renovated clubhouse has a soothing atmosphere, and relaxing baths and beautiful views from the large windows will soothe your day. The restaurant offers a panoramic view of the course, so you may be able to have a round of golf discussions. The terrace is also popular, as it offers an open-air feel.
