Course Description

Beautifully laid out with water and greenery on a vast site

The Taki-no Country Club, Geihinkan Course is located in the gentle hilly area of Kato City, Hyogo Prefecture, and is an 18-hole course beautifully laid out with water and greenery on a vast site of 1.1 million square meters. The maximum height difference of the course is only 10m, and all the delights of golf are skillfully arranged in a flat terrain. The course opened in 1995 and was designed by Mitsuaki Kobayashi, known as “Water Magician”. Half of the holes on the Geihinkan Course are also connected to ponds, making it a course that combines the scenic beauty of water with its strategic nature. The fairways are overseeded and even in winter, a green carpet spreads out, allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the contrast with water all year round. The vivid green of the western grass used on the fairways and the strategically placed water hazards demand accurate shots. A total of 7 holes are involved in water hazards, and while stirring up your attacking spirit, the key to scoring is how calmly you can shoot. Hole 3 is a beautiful 156-yard pond-crossing short hole. There is a large pond from the teeing area to just before the green, but there is no distance problem if you can hit it with a calm mind. Hole 13, 390 yards, is a par 4 with a pond crossing in front of the tee ground. There is an OB zone on the right side, but aiming for the right side of the tree on the fairway is best. The final hole 18 is a 504-yard par 5. It’s a short long hole that long hitters can aim for two-on. You need to aim for the center of the fairway and conquer the pond that spreads to the right side and the pond crossing in front of the green. However, since the forest on the left side is OB and the pond is one penalty, accurate shots are required.

The clubhouse has clean lockers, a restaurant, a bath, and a shop, and you can enjoy a meal while looking the course.
