Course Description

Challenge the longest course in Kansai !

Tojonomori Country Club, Tojo Course is laid out on a hilly terrain in Kato-city, Hyogo Prefecture, and consists of 18 holes. The Tojo Course boasts the longest course in Kansai at 7,503 yards and is nicknamed "The Monster. This is a championship course with a total of 7,503 yards that stirs the challenging spirit of athlete golfers. It was designed by Tsujimoto Kotaro and opened in 1972. Numerous tournaments have been held on this monster course, including the East-West Rivalry in 1973, the Japan Women's PGA Championship in 1991, the Kansai Open in 1994, and the PGA Senior Championship in 2012. The course is so difficult that many pros say, "It's not just long. If you are caught off guard by the wide fairways, you will find yourself in a number of elaborate traps, often resulting in a big knockdown.

Hole 8, Par 4, is for advanced players, and the best position is to aim to the right of the fairway, but be careful of the lake on the left side. You may choose to aim at the green after the second shot after you have carved the right side of the fairway. Hole 12 is par 5 and 645 yards long from the back tee. Aim for the right side of the left bunker for the first shot. After the second shot, aim to the right. There is a flat position on the right side 150 yards beyond the cedar trees, so you need to manage your shots. The par 3 of Hole 15 is a long uphill par 3. It is best to avoid the bunkers in front of the green and aim at the path of flowers. Use a large club and keep a good sense of distance.
